Sir Arthur Charles Clarke, 16 December 1917 – 19 March 2008
On March 19, 2008, 1:30am local time, Sir Arthur Charles Clarke passed away in his home in Sri Lanka. He was 90. The following is a good-bye video message Clarke recorded for his fans and friends in December 2007 on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
